About the Well-Being Programme

The Programme works on behalf of all personnel in Norfolk Children’s Services, not just teachers. It is supported by the teacher support network, Children’s Services HR and by Norfolk County Council. It was established as a result of recommendation from two representative working-parties. Our main objective is to improve the well-being of Children’s Services employees.

The core members of the Well-Being Team are :

| John Nicholls | Well-Being Co-ordinator |
| Paula Amis | Well-Being Co-ordinator / Administrator |
| Joanne Hart | Well-Being Assistant |

In the wider Well-Being team we also use a number of consultants with particular expertise in health and occupational health issues, as well as staff from schools.

This is a preventative strategy, aimed at finding what helps and communicating it as widely as possible. Well-Being Facilitators are a key part of this strategy.

Our clear intention is not to load even more work upon people who are already heavily burdened! We will go along with what you are already doing, and try to help from there.

Feel free to contact us on Norwich 222326 if you’d like to offer any help, or if you just want to know a little more about what we do.
